About our Card:

When you become a Member of the Stony Plain Public Library, you will receive an Alberta Library Card. This card may be used in over 300 libraries in Alberta. Material borrowed from other Alberta libraries can be returned to the Stony Plain Public Library.

Membership Fees for local resident(StonyPlain, Parkland County or Spring Lake)

Your library card is:

Non-transferable: only you may use your card. If you lose your card, please contact the library so that your card cannot be used illegally.

Valid for one full year from the date of issue.

Required to check-out items! Please remember to bring your card to the library. Keep it in a safe place so that it is handy when you need it.

A key to online access. With your library card barcode and your four digit PIN number, you may search our catalogue and request or renew books, movies, magazines, audiobooks and ebooks.

No-Fee Library Cards

The No-Fee card is free! Teens can get one without a parent along and best of all, there are no overdue fines! Read a book, watch a movie, or listen to a CD and bring it back when you're done.
Limits: you can only use the card at the Stony Plain Library, you can only have one item out at a time, and you can't place any holds.
The card gives you access to our great downloadable content, too! Get a card and gain access to our ebooks and downloadable audiobooks!
