Book Clubs
The Library offers an afternoon and an evening book club on the third Friday of the month at 1:30 pm and the first Thursday of the month at 7 pm.

 Walk & Talk book club for people who are looking to get active and discuss books at the same time. They meet the second Tuesday of each month at 10:30am. Perfect for Stroller Moms!

Craft Circle

Thursdays, 1-3 p.m.

We are a group of dedicated crafters, willing to share expertise and ideas, or just talk. Craft circle provides great inspiration to keep working on that project, find something new to do, or just spend time with like minded people. Coffee and tea are available.


Armchair Travel Adventures
6:30 - 7:30pm

Go to fabulous destinations, get travel tips or just enjoy a night out seeing fantastic pictures of amazing places. Passports are NOT necessary!

Tuesday, January 10: Croatia

Wednesday February 29: Arctic Expedition: Janet Waldon works with the Royal Alberta Museum and has been on a unique Arctic expidition that took high school students up into Canada's northern most regions. The trip explores the diversity of Canadian lifestyles and the need for environmental stewardship in this fragile ecosystem. This is a do-not-miss experience!

Tuesday March 13: Stories from Malawi: In 2009, Roberta Laurie visited a brand new girls school in Malawi. She collected stories from the girls who would be the first graduates in 2011 and compiled them in the book "In Their Own Words". Join us to hear Roberta tell us about her experiences first hand here at the library.

Three Thursdays: February 16, 23 & March 1, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
$5/person. Register by February 10.

Create unique works of art with old books. Discover how to transform dingy, dull tomes into your own personalized work of art. Bring collage items that mean something to you! Other materials will be provided.
